Privacy Policy

Guaranteed Estimator (“we”, “us”, or “our”), operated by iSCALE Home Services LLC, respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information when you visit guaranteedestimator.com, use our home services matching platform, or otherwise interact with us. By using our services, you consent to the practices described in this Policy.

• Identifiers: name, email address, phone number, postal address, IP address.
• Commercial information: project details, services requested, communication preferences.
• Internet or other electronic activity: pages visited, referring URLs, device and browser data, cookies, advertising identifiers.
• Geolocation data: approximate location derived from IP address, and the property address you provide.
• Inferences: drawn from the above to assess project fit and match you with appropriate contractors.

We do not knowingly collect Social Security numbers, government identifiers, precise geolocation, biometric data, health data, or other information defined as “sensitive” under applicable state privacy laws.

• Provide, maintain, and improve our services.
• Match you with qualified contractors in your area.
• Communicate with you about your inquiry, appointments, and support requests.
• Send marketing communications where permitted — you may opt out at any time.
• Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Use.

We collect personal information directly from you, automatically from your device, and from third parties such as advertising networks and address verification providers. We share information with:

• Partner contractors and lead purchasers, so they can contact you about your project.
• Service providers who help us operate our business — hosting, communications, analytics, and CRM — under written contracts limiting their use of the data.
• Advertising partners, including Meta and Google, for measurement and to deliver relevant ads. This sharing may be considered a “sale” or “sharing for targeted advertising” under some state laws.
• Legal, safety, and corporate transactions when required by law, to protect rights, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.

We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide our services, comply with legal obligations including TCPA and consumer protection record-keeping, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Marketing records are typically retained for 4 years, and consent records for 5 years.

Depending on where you reside, you may have additional rights under your state’s privacy law. The sections below describe those rights and how to exercise them.

California residents have the right to:

• Know the categories and specific pieces of personal information we collect, use, disclose, “sell”, or “share”.
• Delete personal information, subject to statutory exceptions.
• Correct inaccurate personal information.
• Opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information, including for cross-context behavioral advertising — exercise this right via our Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information form.
• Limit the use and disclosure of sensitive personal information. We do not currently use sensitive personal information for purposes that trigger this right.
• Non-discrimination for exercising any right, and data portability.

You may designate an authorized agent to submit requests on your behalf. We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal as a valid opt-out of sale and sharing for California visitors. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16 without opt-in consent. Under California’s “Shine the Light” law, residents may request information about disclosures to third parties for direct marketing purposes by emailing privacy@guaranteedestimator.com.

Residents of Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana, Iowa, Delaware, New Jersey, New Hampshire, Nebraska, Minnesota, Maryland, Indiana, Tennessee, Florida, Kentucky, Rhode Island have the following rights, subject to verification and statutory exceptions: to confirm whether we process their personal data and to access it; to correct inaccuracies; to delete personal data; to data portability in a readily usable format; to opt out of the sale of personal data, targeted advertising, and profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects; and to appeal a denial of any of these requests.

Colorado, Connecticut, Oregon, Montana, Texas, New Jersey, New Hampshire, Maryland, Delaware, Minnesota additionally require us to honor recognized universal opt-out mechanisms such as the Global Privacy Control. Minnesota residents may question the result of profiling and obtain a meaningful explanation. Maryland prohibits the sale of sensitive data and limits collection to what is strictly necessary. Florida applies its rights to entities meeting the statutory threshold.

Nevada residents may submit a request directing us not to sell certain personal information pursuant to NRS 603A. Submit your request through the channels below.

Where required by law, we recognize the Global Privacy Control (GPC) as a valid opt-out of sale, sharing, and targeted advertising. If you enable GPC in a supported browser, we treat it as your opt-out for the browser and device sending the signal.

We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes that require the right to limit under California or similar state laws. Where state law requires, you may still ask us to limit such use.

We do not currently offer financial incentives in exchange for personal information. If that changes, this section will be updated with the material terms, the method to opt in, and the right to withdraw.

We will verify your request using the contact information you provide and may ask for additional information to confirm your identity. We will respond within 45 days, extendable by an additional 45 days where the law allows. If we deny a request, you have the right to appeal; appeals are decided within 60 days. Authorized agents may submit requests on your behalf with proof of authority.

We use technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information from unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction, including encryption in transit, access controls, and routine security review. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

We use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to operate our site, measure performance, and deliver advertising. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Enabling Global Privacy Control will opt you out of advertising cookies that involve a “sale” or “sharing” under applicable state laws.

Our services are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of minors under 16 without affirmative authorization. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the Effective Date and Last Updated dates above. Material changes will be communicated through the website or, where required, by other appropriate means.
